How to display K2 Extra Fields in NSP 4 ?

I want to display a series of k2 items of commercial offerings using NSP4 and want to be able to display the price as an additional information with K2's Extra fields.
These items are tourist travel packages, and I already have a booking engine attached to them (jomres), so creating them in a virtuemart or k2store is not only an overkill (and will probably mess up all the purchase process I want to have), but also since price varies depending on the date/season, is not feasible to use. Were that not so, I would be using the VM/K2STORE features of NSP4.

Since joomres itself is very poor in terms of presenting content, the solution we found was to create the whole description in K2 and just create a simple item with all the pricing/date variations in joomres. It's then linked with a button in the k2 editor (JCE advlink). The K2 item uses a "Extra Field" to show the minimum price (Price from:...).

The challenge now is to be able to present the offerings (items) in an appealing way, using the informartion fields in NSP4 article section. I've tried playing with the default variables (%CATEGORY,...) and changing them to the extra items description, but nothing is triggered.

Can you give me some info if such is possible and how to do it?

Have you found a solution to this? I'm also trying to show extra fields by using the %EXAMPLE in the module, when i add an extra field and try that using the module its not pulling it..

how to do this please?
