How to add tag code at the frontpage

Please I'm using the new gk news template. I just registered for propeller ad program. And I was told to add a certain meta tag code to the front page of the site. How do I add it to my Joomla site using my gk news template. I'm using Joomla 3.51. And where do I add the code.

Metatags are help in /layout/blocks/head.php file, so please try copy it there.

I'm sorry my dear, please what I meant was that I was told to copy a code before the </body> tag in the html of my site. So where can I find the html of my website in Joomla using the gk_news template.
