frontend editing problem

hello,

having problems getting frontend editing to work properly.

problem: not able to edit modules (mainbody_top for example) from front-end. after selecting module to edit, module editing page displays. page then immediately reloads to home-page when selecting option to edit.

steps taken:
1. followed steps to activate frontend editing here:

Hi

What module is it exactly ? Some modules have too complexed backend options with many additional libraries which cannot be loaded for frontpage so it may not always work. Please tell me an example so I'll be able to see what is wrong.

hello,
could not get frontend editing to work from the 'frontend' mode, but got it working forwarding to 'backend' editing mode. that's just fine with me.
