footer_nav item link help

hello,
having trouble creating new "terms of service" page in the footer_nav module. i'll be adding other pages such as "Privacy Notice", "DMCA", etc.
problem: i do not want "terms of service" page to show up in any article modules.

steps taken:
1. created K2 item.
2. added "terms of service" text to new item.
3. created new "terms of service" menu item in "footer menu":
a. "Menu Item Type": item
b. "Select Item": "terms of service"

please provide options in resolving this issue.

First You should create a separate category for this articles and than make sure this category is not selected in any module as a source for articles to display.

Or if You are gonna use K2 for articles than for this legal informations use regular joomla articles instead.

was not able to remove the 'terms of service' K2 article from home page modules such as 'NSP HeaderPosition', even after creating a new category. though, was able to work properly creating a standard joomla article as you suggested.
