Problem with mainbody position

Hello!
I have a website with main page which do display all content from 3 categories and subcategories. Also in main menu i have main menu items with links for those categories and subcategories.
By idea - when visitor visits front page all information from different categories are available. By clicking on category link in main menu visitor can access all information from particular category and subcategories in similar view as on front page but only with items from particular category.
The problem is -
Front page properly displays modules in mainbody position but do not display mainbody module after clicking on another mainmenu item. On old version of News website everything worked well but not on new one.
If i do change default page status from front page to another mainmenu item - module in mainbody appears here but disappears in front page item.
Have no idea how to figure it out.

Hi

"mainbody" module position is shared with component, so it cannot be covered everytime. In some templates You can select if mainbody should be removed too, so please check settings, maybe that's the case, but I would advice to avoid placing anything in "mainbody" module position and just use "mainbody_top" or "mainbody_bottom".
