Disable images in post

to show images in the news page overview i have to enable a featured image. But i dont want the image to show in the post and enabled in the page overview.

I know i can remove it with the code, but is there an option to disable it in the post it self?

Unfortunately there's no option to disable featured image on the post page, you have to do it by editing theme's code. (I suggest to use a child theme for this kind of modifications)
