Profile edit in Community Builder

Hi
I have a small problem with Technews and Community Builder, which I hope you can help with. Some of the fields in the userprofile editing pages, which should show as dropdown lists, and do so using one of the default Joomla templates (Beez 3), are only showing as boxes with 0px width in Technews. So far this has been a great template with CB, so I'd really like to resolve the issue.
I have made the userprofile Public, and include a link below, so that you view it, plus added some screenshots using the two templates.

Hi

Please disable all extensions and than start publishing them one ofter the other while checking the dropdown. One of this extensions is adding chosen library which has to be disabled.

I found it was Smart Search that was causing the problem, by doing just what you advised, disabling all extensions in turn, so many many thanks for your help.
