Contact plugin won't clen in NSP

I can't get the plugin text to clean in the NSP module. I've turned on clean plugin on in the module but it's not working.

Usually plugins are using {} chars for their content, so [] used by widgetkit are not recognised as plugi. Try put {} around it.

I changed the widgetkit brackets but still have the same issue. I've attached a picture of another plugin for "Simple Picture Slideshow" and that has the same problem. In the bottom part of the screenshot I also use a "Modules Anywhere" plugin and that has a whole different issue where it module the module from the plugin. These are all on the front page.

I've never come across this issue before and I've even changed to another Gavick template but have the same problem.

The Widgetkit brackets are changed back to [] for now since that's not the problem.

Ok, this is super interesting because I'm looking onto the code and see a line which supposed to remove any {}.

I tried the fix but it came up with an error as seen in the attachment. If we get a fix to work will I have to use it every time I update the module. I've left the fix up on the site so you look at it live.

Module looks ok to me right now. Have You changed something to make it work or maybe it just needed time to refresh cache or something ?

For now what I did was I added intro text to the article and used that display instead. I recreated the same scenario on a couple of other quickstart templates and had the same results. There seems to be a problem with at least the "Grid News" Module mode in NSP using fulltext. Maybe this should be moved out of Technews and put in NSP with a fixed the topic title. I messed it up it was suppose to be "Content plugin won't clean in NSP" but can't seem to change it.

I'm afraid I do not understand what You did.
Do You mean that the problem is not with not removing plugin's code ? I'm sorry, but can You clarify Your last answer a little bit ? Also can You prepare a copy with the same issue as on Your screen ? I'm sure it can be solved, the problem is just that a direct FTP access a fix is kind of a guessing.

Thank God I copied my response to the clipboard. Every time I click preview it takes me out of the response page and I loose everything.

I am still using the plugins but what I did was to create intro text without the plugins for the main articles. I then set the NSP module in "News Grid" mode to display the just the intro text but linked to the full articles that when viewed displayed the gallery plugin. Unfortunately I've had to move on with the site in question but I've recreated the same scenario with a "Technews" quickstart template at http://wezworldtest.com/technews/

I have a "Widgetkit" gallery plugin in the "Apple Watch is coming" K2 article and a "Simple Photo Slideshow" plugin in the "Nexus 6 release date" K2 article. As you can see the NSP module is displaying the plugins and not cleaning them. I don't have FTP access on the server but I can PM the Admin login and add a file manager component so you can access the files.

Ok. I have an answer The last fix worked. Problem was that if You are using "Clean plugins" option than "Parse plugins" cannot be enabled. Simple and logical, but both of use missed it
