Url ugliness

Hi there,
Love this template as I do most of your templates but I have a problem with the URLs for articles I created. When I create a new arrticle in Joomla, linking from the menu to a Joomla category, they get " /index.php/k2-extra-field-groups/CATGEORYNAME/ in the URL. I have disabled K2 extra fields, but I wonder why this is added to the URL in the first place? Especially because I am only working with Joomla articles and categories? Hope you can help.

Hi

This looks like joomla has some problem with database. It picks wrong menu aliases from tables. Make sure joomla and joomla's database are up to date (there is an option in extensions management for both). Than try to run a repair option in database using some database manager and also a rebuild option in menu item manager in joomla panel.
