Header menu - box size

Why is the box size in the header menu so small? In the demo it has a form in it and it is obviously wider. On my site it is 13 px and the 3 photos that i want to include are outside. What do i need to change?

Have you started with quickstart or standard template?

PS - could you please mark the problematic element on a screenshot? I'm having issues finding out what you mean.

I want to be able to customize the width of the header menu box. I used the original install, because no provider in Romania offers more than 32 Mb of php memory(unless you pay way to much money) and the quickinstall can't be used(white screen instead of installation process).

Default sidebar width in quickstart is set to 45%. You can modify it in "Layouts" tab of template settings - "Sidebar width" parameter.
