GK Taxonomy Images for Categories??

Hello. I'd like to use an image which will be displayed in the taxonomy page for the blog category (so the header is not just a primary theme's color but has an image) but GK Taxonomy plugin doesn't work (it's activated in Plugins). When I click 'Select image' (Posts > Categories > Edit Category) the page reloads and I see a message 'Category updated'. Nothing happens. That's it. Please advise. Thank you.

Apparently, other people also have problems. Everything remains as it was before plugin is install and activated. Please advise and help
