Newsletter Pop-Up Not Closing

I've added a newsletter subscriber widget to the Newsletter area in the widgets. It's working great EXCEPT that it won't close. When I click on the "X" in the upper right hand corner, it does nothing. I see in the coding and in the browser that it's referencing "#" and that's it.

Can I get some insight on how to resolve this please? I am not using MailPoet. I'm using a MailChimp for WordPress plug-in because I like it better and they provide a widget for this kind of thing.

Your script should add a class "hidden-popup" after clicking the "X" on the newletter pupup corner. Something is wrong with your scripts, could you send me a private message with backend and FTP acess? Then I'll be able to check the issue.
