Is there a way to build the same exact navigation/sub-navigation scheme from the Quark eCommerce demo into the Quark default style through the Wordpress menu builder? Or is the layout & functionality of the main navigation menu unique to the ecommerce child theme?

I really like the horizontal layout of the sub-menu particularly under the "Store" category where "Men's Shoes" "Women's Shoes" sub-categories each have their own column. Again, I like the menu but would like to use it under the default Quark style.

I am using the default Quark style because my website is not ecommerce/woo-commerce based.

Suggestions?

** Solved **

Appearance > Menus:

In order to specify how many columns are available in the main navigation sub-menu, you have to define the proper css class to the sub-menu item you want the colunmns/layout to appear.

By default, Wordpress may hide the "CSS Class" boxes in your menu builder so be sure to go to Appearance > Menus >
"Show advanced menu properties" (at top of the screen) and put a check mark next to "CSS Classes."

Now the CSS Classes box should appear on each menu item. The proper CSS class for a 2-column layout in your sub-menu item is "menu-cols-2" - if you want a 3-column layout in your sub-menu use "menu-cols-3".

I hope this helps someone out!
