I know that the Joomla version ofn this template has a one line blog design.

I'd really like to use this template but the blog design in my opinion let's it down.

Does the wordpress version have a 'normal' set up in terms of the blog element.
By that I mean can I have a right hand blog menu etc and could I do as I have with K2 set it up with a two columns etc.

Hello,

Sorry, but the WP version is not based on K2 or any other plugin, so there's no columns layout available. What exactly do you mean by "right hand blog menu"? You can add the menu and other widgets to the sidebar widget area on category pages.
