Hi,

Yes, but on pages other than frontpage (if you are using frontpage template), because the frontpage is generated from pages and it's not possible to use widgets here.

What do u mean with frontpage template? I know using pages but i want to use gk tabs and gk news show. My client wants a newsshow from a categorie to show a blog. But the widgets wont work. So is there a possible way to use the newsslider on the fronpage?

You can use news show pro on the frontpage (inside pages) by using shortcode, please check this article:

Nice thats were is was looking for! But data_source_type="wp-category" wp_category_list="blog" isnt working is says u can find the id in the urll but i have permasettings on post name so i used the title name of the category list.

You can check it in the backend (even if you are using permalinks with post/category names), please go to Post -> Categories, click your category and ID should be visible in the URL.

Somehow the widget is not working i have linked a widget to a page on main menu. Using ID and Slug but it wont show up

So i make a new page, then i go to widgets and ad the ID or slug to it. But the order is not working somehow. I want first page just a background picture with text. And next just text after that the tabs. Do i need to make new pages or can i just use one page?

Sorry, but I don't understand, you wanted to use news show pro on the frontpage (inside pages) using shortcode, so you should not use the widgets. If you want to change the order of the frontpage sections, please check this article:

Well i tried the shortcodes but i cant figure out how use different costumizations. Like at widgets there alot more options. So i used pages, and wanted to insert a widget on 3 page for example.

Ok, I understand, but how exactly do you want to add widget to this page? the only way to add widget to the page content is by using the shortcode.

You can add widget to i.e. bottom or top widget areas and display it on your page, but it won't be visible on the frontpage, because frontpage sections display only page's content without any widget areas.
