Submenu Full Width, it is possible?

I´m working on a site with Quark template. I love to work with this amazing template, but my client needs a submenu with full width. I attached a screenshot explaining the problem.

I´m trying with css with no results. Can you help me guys??

It's way more complicated than I thought I'm afraid. I promised I'll make it, but will need an access to FTP, so I'll be bale to see changes live.
