404 frontpage error after quickstart installation

I have followed your instructions. I have installed english uk as default language. I have tried twice but I am still getting
index.php?error=404&itemId=99999

404
The page you were looking for could not be found.

At the frontpage

I am trying to install Quark e-commerce

I don't know why but now it is ok. It seemed like there was cache at the server. I deleted the cache at joomla but nothing was happening.

Now after an hour the front page loads fine. Do you have any ideas why this happened?

Sorry, but I've never seen anything like that. I think maybe it was a browser or server cache or maybe a database was picking up old record if there was some joomla installation in this location already. Anyway happy it's not a problem any more.
