hi, i am almost at finish with debugging the ordering process :)
unfortunately, after the order is placed (we can see that in the virtuemart section, in "Orders&Shoppers") there is no email for the administrator or the client.

i have send a test mail from the template configuration panel and it reached the destination (vendor mail).
i have also configured AcyMailing with the vendor email address, but nothing is happening.

if you have time, please take a look in the admin and just let me know what am I doing wrong.

thank you so much in advance, best regards

Hi

Can You please give me some more details ? Where mail is not showing? Do You mean that during registration system is not asking for mail ? This sound to me more related with Virtuemart, that with our products, so You may also report this to VM support.

Hi, teitbite.

I am reffering to the fact that, as an admin of the site, I don't receive an email with the order.
Also, the client doesn't receive a confirmation email for the order. We have tested this.

You have any idea where this can be fixed from?

Hi

This can be happening because of number of reasons. I would start with settings SMTP in global joomla settings. Next thing would be to update VM. Joomla 3.6 has brought a different functions for mails, so older version may not support it. If there will be no difference still You may check if it's not a server issue. Anyway try also asking on joomla forum, we do not change mailing functionality with our products, so they will know best.

Hi

No news unfortunately. Please start with configuring SMTP. It helped in couple of cases of a similar problem.

Hi

This has to be a problem on joomla or virtuemart side. When I change template to protostar, which is joomla default template, there is no change at all. I think this is why programmers was leaving it to figure out as last, but with the crazy amount of work I'm not sure when they will be able to look into that. Please better ask in joomla forums or virtuemart forums. Since this problem is common they may already have a solution to that.

Hi

Just saw Your PM. SMTP should be provided by hosting provider. You can ask him/her directly or find it in some hosting management panel if it was provided to You. Unfortunately location of this details depends of what management system Your hostin provider uses, so I believe easiest is just to ask them.
