Add to cart on Category Page

Hi,

I have been searching these forums for a solution but haven’t found one for Joomla 3 with VM 3. There was however a great solution for VM2.5 – can’t find the link again tough.

I am not sure if this is a satisfactory solution as this cause other issues with the template.
For example, “Default number of products in a row” seems to be ignored, the css of the Product Detail button is not consistent with the ‘Add to cart’.
What would be good is if you can have the “Add to Cart” and the “Product Details” button next to on another instead of only having the Product Details button.

It wouls actually be better to have the add to cart above the product details with the ability to adjust the quantities

The add to cart button seem to work for products displayed in "News Show Pro GK5"
but not for the category layout in VM

Hi

First of all check if it's not a matter of VM configuration, try rename /html/com_virtuemart/category/default.php to _default.php so an orginal file will be used without modifications. If Add to cart will not be showing still it means You should as VM support how to configure it first.
