Simple image gallery with Quark template

Hi,
I'm using Simple Image Gallery with the Quark template and have run into a couple of problems

1. The lightbox display doesn't work
2. the gallery is very slow to load

I'm using the modified template produced by Teitbite and described in this post

My version of SIG doesn't allow for different templates so I renamed it default, but seems to work!

I'd be really grateful for any help anyone can offer with 1 and 2 though. Have tried modifying all JS settings in the plug-in and template to no avail.

I’m afraid that modifications such as this require extensive changes to the theme’s code; I do apologize but such large changes are custom work that are beyond the scope of our technical support.
