Hey,
I have the same problem.
In my site it just shows up at the bottom, like this..
newsletter.png

If I select my other template Quark ecommerce it does work. So it seems an issue with Quark..
Sorry I cannot be of more help, I need help as well with this... :(

Could you please provide me with a URL to your website, either here or via PM (click the “Private Message” text underneath my avatar) so that I may analyze it? It is a lot easier for us to diagnose issues when we have a live site to examine.

Hi

Ok, but have You seen it once ? It's based on cookies, so if You close it once it will be visible again after couple of days. To test please clear cookies for Your site and check than.

Hi

I'm sorry, I still can see it working correctly on 2 different computers in FF, Safari, Chrome and IE11. Do not know why it's not showing for You.

Hi

I still think it's working for You as well, but this popup is supposed to be visible only once per couple of days, so after closing it a cookie is stored on computer with an information after what time it can be shown again.

Surely it's not showing for me after I've closed it on my first visit and did not clear cookies.

Hi

Ok, I've made some changes to code it /layout/default.php and now COOKIE does not affect this module at all. Now I can see it everytime, even if I close it. Please check.

Hi

It's not working correctly now :) I broke it to force it to show on every visit. This should not be like that. Clients will get annoyed by this appearing even after they've closed it many times or subscribed already.

Hi. If it opens, even after the client register, you do not work well, then it would make sense. Any ideas?

Hi

It was working OK before! It's implemented the way that if You see it and close it with X button it will close and add a cookie to Your computer to be opened again in couple days. That's the only condition there. In my opinion it should be as it was designed, but lets just leave it like that.

Hello, thanks for your answer, in my case is always open, even just to close and reopen the site, and that is quite negative for the end customer ... From what I understand, it will open even when the customer always will already enrolled? ... If so, I think the only alternative is to disable it, then, instead of improving the conversion, it could get worse ... If you're like I say, we ask you to please keep the file of how was designed, although as you know, in my case, does not open ... any other alternative? thanks greetings...

Hi

Here is a line of code with condition from newsletter popup:

Code: Select all
    <?php if($this->API->modules('newsletter') && !isset($_COOKIE['gk-newsletter-popup'])) : ?>

this means that popup will show everytime if module is published in "newsletter" module position and there is no COOKIE named "gk-newsletter-popup" attached to Your browser. We know module is there always, so if it's not showing for You than You must have this COOKIE set, there is just no other way.

I'm reversing last change and I think You will just need to trust me that this will work for users in a none invasive way.

Hi

I've just visited Your site again and I'm 100% sure it hides only for couple of days since I've seen it again. I think we can close this thread.
