working off of a quick installation of 12/3 quark.

I have followed the few documents you have on gavick.com, but I can't seem to get quark template to recognize your grid gk5 module. I've set them up correctly, but need better instructions on how to:

a) which template positions I can publish it to in the back end.
b) get the grid box module positions to show up in the drop down when publishing them in the back end.
c) what SPECIFIC code combinations / settings I need to make sure I have properly selected to get the front end to display the grid boxes. I'm not looking to do anything really fancy - just an image in one box and text in the other. I'm pretty sure there are likely jquery selections and / or suffix names that need to be adjusted / selected in different places, so I just need clear instructions on how to get the above to appear in the front end.

Hi

a). This module was prepared for a frontend, so You cannot use it in backend without changes to code and I'm afraid we do not support such modifications

b). This positions would need to be manually added to templateDetails.xml file in a matter:
Code: Select all
<position>menu_top</position>
, just under the positions You will see already.

c). there are no such specifications. Grid module only creates new module positions and anything placed there with a responsive functionality should fit. Of course for some extensions a small adjustment may be necessary to fill the space in width and height

Ok - the documentation I found that I was working off of is a bit off or possible an older version I was referring to. For clarity, I found that setting the background image in the options tab does not allow anything to appear. You have to add a simple image and nothing more along with simple text and nothing more and it will appear.

Do you have a template position that is full template width that you can recommend my publishing it to? I tried mainbody position but that appears to not be a full template width position as it crams both grid boxes into the center middle. Is there a module / template position url for this template you can send me?

Hi

Map for module positions is here: https://demo.gavick.com/joomla3/quark/t ... -positions, but I do not think any other positions than "header" is full width.

Try explain what You want exactly with images You want to use, etc and I'll try to help You make modifications to template to help achieve that.
