removing demo shoe images from virtuemart

12/13 build of quark quickstart

I removed the products and the categories. I removed the menu items and recreated a new store. I cleared global cache. How do I get rid of all of the demo store items currently shown in the store menu?

Do You mean modules with images of shoes ? Those are a regular Custom HTML type modules. All You need to do to get rid of them is to unpublish them on modules list. You can tell which module it is by a title.

I deleted the demo products and the demo categories but they all still remain. There is nothing other than the Kneekers category in virtuemart and nothing other than the kneekers products in virtuemart. After deleting all of your demo products / categories they still remain. I tried deleting the images from the media section of virtuemart and it got rid of the images but the product / category shells remain. How do i get rid of them?

Now I understand what You have in mind, but I'm afraid it's coming from Virtuemart not our template. To be sure please change template to a joomla default one and check if this products are there still. If yes than You need to contact Virtuemart support.

My only idea is to check if this products are not in trash still or in cache. Try clear both.
