Cart Variant not working in Chrome

Hi,

We are trying to use the variant system in Virtuemart, the feature works in Safari however when trying Chrome, the variant system does not display the Add to Cart button and continues to display Choose a variant.

Hi,

After further investigation, the issue appears to be template related. We performed a fresh install of Quark eCommerce and the issue still persists when using multi variants.

When switching to the basic Joomla template, multi variants work perfectly, however we are still unable to work out why multi variants wont work with the Quark eCommerce template.

Programmers answered 2h ago. Unfortunately I do not have good news. Here is what they said:

I've installed template "Protostar" at client's site and I can see the same problem exists there. This means that our template is not causing this problem. A possible issues are:
1. Misscinfiguration
2. Bug in Virtuemart itself
3. A conflict with a 3rd party extension
Each case client should contact Virtuemart support.

Hi,

Please could they check this site: http://vapournaught.9line.co.uk

It is a fresh install without any extra modules or plugins install and the issue is still present.

Please could it be investigated further as the Prostar template allows it to work on http://vapournaught.9line.co.uk

Hi,

After looking at the way the page with loading in Chrome, we discovered that the javascript was being altered.

The issue was with Cloudflares Rocket Loader feature, once this was disabled the javascript ran correctly in Chrome.

Och. Great to hear that. I do not even know what "Cloudflares Rocket Loader" is, but I'm really happy You have figured it out. Closing thread now.
