Hi,

I'm getting crazy trying to set up the quark template to be multilingual.

I've followe the steps:

- Install the languages
- Activate the language plugin.
- Create the menus for the languages
- Finally I've modified the modules to be placed in the proper menu.

The thing is that the everything seems to be a mess when activating the language plugin. The header gets cropped when the modules are assigned to the Main Menu (UK). If I deactivate the Language Plugin and set back the Header to the Main Menu (the created by default), then everything is ok.

What else should I consider to detect the problem.

Please, I was deligthed with your template, but I'm seriously thinkg about to abandon this project. That's too much for me.

Hope to can clarify me what's going on behind or If I'm missing something.
Thanks.

Problems with header might be connected with page suffixes (feature in our template settings). Please verify if both pages has same suffixes, if not, then set them this way:

Thanks for the information. Anyway, I've solved in another way:

- SInce I'm building a multilingual site I guess, apart from the things I mentioned in my initial post, I have to duplicate the template style, so I'm creating one 'QK Quark en_uk' for english and one 'QK Quarl es_ES' for spanish. Since I should select for each of the templates who is the main menu and I think it's necessary to show properly the content in the different languages. Am i right?

So when doing so, I realized that I had to add the Home ID on each template with the proper suffix as a rule, as described in the quark documentation (Import template settings). So when I did this all the style was ok in both templates.

Anyway, I would like that you confirm that this is the proper configuration to make Quark a multilingual site. I was a bit difficult to understand for me everything at the beginning and this final step was my victory but I would prefer that someone with more expertise could valide this configuration.

Thanks.

This is a correct approach to configuring multi language and most flexible one.
