Video teaser controls in quark restaurant template

Hi,

I would like to add play/stop/volume controls to the video teaser in the home page of quark restaurant template instead of autoplay.
I tried putting controls and controls="controls" in different places of the code,
after reading about html5 code and video.
But I couldn't get it work. The control symbol appears but it's not clickable...
Do you have any solution for that?

I found out it works when I leave the Module Class Suffix without video-bg.
Probably it's because the video is in the background.
Since I want to show the video without any text on it, but I want it to be big,
what code do I have to change to bring in foreground?
Or do you think this is not enough to get controls working?

Please make it the way so You will be able to see a play button. Let me know so I'll be able to check how to make it clickable.
