LESS compiler

Hi there,

I get a consistent error when trying to comile the changed template.less:

Fehler

expected color value: failed at `border-bottom: 1px solid fade(@white, 20); ` /var/www/*/html/*/templates/gk_quark//less/template.less on line 578

Es ist ein Fehler beim Kompilieren aufgetreten.

I can see that there is a double slash between gk_quark and less. Could that cause the error? And if yes what can I do about it?
Any idea?

Hi

Ok I was able to confirm this problem and reported this to programmers. It will be updated soon in all packages. Meanwhile please change in line 578 of /templates/gk_quark/less/template.less sentence "@white" to "#fff".

By the way: If I use .less to change the colours will it be overwritten by the updates and how can I prevent this? I tried to use the overwrite.less but it seems not to work?

Hi

Yes, I'm afraid it will be overwritten if You will use an update via joomla (I prefere to overwrite files via ftp, easier to get the old version back in case of problems). Override.less is clear at start, to use it override needs to be enabled in template setting. And it will be overwritten with a clean file during update too, but always easier to keep one file from being changed than many,

Ok. I think soon this problem will be fixed in template packages. I've seen programmers discussing it already. Looks like it's just a matter of time now.
