hi there. i installed the template quark under joomla 3.4 in english.
i do need a second language for my website, german, so i installed the language pack, published the language switcher, set up two menus, two modules, two different test-articles.

english is the default language and when i go onto my website, using the off-canvas menu, everything works fine till the moment, i switch to german. doing this will change to the german article as it should, but the menu doesn’t show any menu item anymore. there ist just nothing showing. if i switch back to english, the english version of the menu will show again.

i just duplicated the template and have also chosen the main menu in the template manager, for both of the templates, which actually works. BUT, as i have to make changes on my template from time to time i’d rather work with just one template, without having a duplicate, because it will double my work if i gonna change things around in the future.

does anyone has an idea how to manage this?? thank you very much in advance!!

cheers,
stef

Hi

Please take a look into this instruction: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... joomla-1-7 it's for an older joomla version but still valid.

Or just make a second tempalte style and select a different language and menu there. Files will be same. so changes will apply to both version at the same time.
