I have use your guid to setup a couple of custom modules to display some text!
In one of the module I have create a link to an article. However when i click on this link , the link is opend, but the artcle is not shown. Only the modules are shown.

I have link this article to a dummy menu to have a link.

You can view this on http://www.truckbandrecycling.nl and click on the first button.

How do I get this article content to be shown on this page.

Hi,
probably because on home page you have special suffix witch are disabling component view,
and for joomla links from modules are quite difficult in that situation.
Make a small test:

1) Add this same article link into menu
2) then took url from it and put in module again.

If will not help call me...

Thanks for your response.

I have added the article to the usermenu. This is visible in the right upper corner.

The name of this menu-item is "Beginnen".
If you open this menu-item the url "http://www.truckbandrecycling.nl/truckbandrecycling.nl/index.php/beginnen" is opened.
Unfortanetely the content of the article is not shown

I have also changed the link in the image module in the position "header". So i you click on the first button the link "http://www.truckbandrecycling.nl/truckbandrecycling.nl/index.php/beginnen" will open.
Also the content of the article is not displayed.

I know what a suffix is, however where should this be used.

I know what a suffix is, however where should this be used.

In Quark like in others, suffix is assigned to homepage, where? In Template settings, by menu item ID.

Do you mean in tab features in template? There is no suffix used!

This template like other are able to show articles.
Make a test and:
1) create a new menu item with single article view
2) set it as a default homepage.
3) Do you see it?

you can use empty article as a home as well.
