Hello, I wonder if it is possible to get this nice subscribe popup like in Quark Estore and Quark Villa Belluci https://yadi.sk/i/oBp5-VQGhyuhQ.
Is there a way to pull this popup into simple Quark without switching templates? I don't need the ecommerce capabilities there yet, but do need this "Get hooked up" popup thing...
Thanks!

Hi,
you can do this is choosing a hard or easy way,
I suggest try second option.
1) Install plugin which is responsible for popup effect - I saw at least few in JED
2) Use it with newsletter module
That's all in customization topic.

Sorry to bother you again, but I've checked out with your QuickStart package for Quark-Ecommerce - coulndn't find no pluging bound to this module.
Now your QuickStart and my site has the same Joomla version, template version and even AcyMail - you have Basic, I have Essential that I've bought from them few months ago. I can't see why yours does popup, and mine is somwhere way below the page and doesn't popup. What plugin did you use? I can't find it in list...

I did read it carefully. Thirdparty plugins usually end up in more problems, and never look as neat, as your examples in demo; so I usually do everything I can to replicate settings from your QS on my live site, and only if it doesn't work will I look for something to install. Why put all different crap on a site, if in your QS on my localhost everything works without it? ))) The less junk I install, the faster the site will be... )))

My last attempt to understand why is it a customization? I just want it to behave EXACTLY as it is shown in your demo. And I have same everything - engine, template, settings. It's nothing extra:
Your demo site: https://demo.gavick.com/joomla3/quark_ecommerce/ - Joomla 3.4.1 - Quark 1.2 - Module is in Newsletter position. - Screenshot: https://yadi.sk/i/oBp5-VQGhyuhQ
My site: http://v-boge.org/ - Joomla 3.4.3 - Quark 1.2 - Module in Newsletter position - Screenshot: https://yadi.sk/i/Y-XSyOdJi22Mn

So, everything is the same as on your demo page. That's why I am trying to replicate it... Or do you mean there's some code that your guys coded for this to pop up?

Aaa that newsletter, sorry I was blind. Maybe because like many many users I have installed Adblock Plus which disable all those elements. I will check what is wrong with CSS>

Each Quark style (Default, E-commerce, Restaurant) have similar design/code, but they have also servers differences inside core,
only in one (ECOMMERCE) you will find: gk-newsletter-popup code, which are located in 4 template files:

:!:
I think you can guess why it's not so simple to transfer this effect from template A to template B.

Ok, this helped. Got it done! It was crazy simple - In template settings I didn't switch to ecommerce.less file...

Therefore, you are smart. This switcher can help in quark only but in other templates you have to grab the code with you.
Have a nice day.

))) I just had enough trust in you guys that if I see something on your demo page for given template, I must be able to recreate experience on my site with the same template! ))) Thank you! Have a nice day too! I am traveling today to Singapore with peace in heart! Thanks!

I read all the postings as pain full as it was , because I am interested in having the same pop-up. So I will assume pulling all the files from the template folder. .js .php and ,less and placing inside other gavick template will produce same results as the Quark E-comm site... am I correct in the assumption? Thank you
