HI!

I noticed with the original front page header, there are 3 images that come with different resolutions, presumably for desktop, tablet and mobile. If i were to use other images for header images in other pages, do I just upload 3 resolutions of that image and name them with the _tablet and _mobile suffix accordingly ?

Thanks!

Which images are you referring to exactly?

Hi!

I am using the quark quickstart template. After installation, in the Joomla>image folder, there are header_bg.jpg, header_bg_tablet.jpg and header_bg_mobile.jpg. I was just assuming that these images are for use in different screens. So I was further assuming that if I were to make other pages, I have to make 3 different resolutions naming them xx_bg.jpg, xx_bg_tablet.jpg and xx_bg_mobile.jpg so that when my pages load on different devices, the corresponding image will be loaded to cut down on download time. I can be totally wrong about the whole concept. Just want to learn more about it.

Again, thanks for responding.

Hello,

The quark template uses one image in the header for all resolutions: /images/demo/header_bg.jpg
