Language switcher position

Hi,

I installed additional languages and would like to display the langauge switcher in the main menu or in the header as its not useful where its displayed in the standard position at the bottom for me. Is there a way of doing this?

Hi,
you have two option:
1) Add Language Switcher as a module inside menu
2) Create a new module position after menu, and there publish that module

Thanks for the reply. I was checking your documentation and see that option 1 is not what I'm looking for but option 2 yes.
But when I try to place the language module into the main menu through "/layouts/default.php" I have the problem that the module places outside the menu in the header and I would like to place it between the menu and the shopping cart.

Can you help? as my php is not really good. I attach a screen shot so you can see what i mean.
