Tab buttons display "late"

I am using the GK Tabs module setup according to the template instructions. I have 7 tabs, the 7th tab button does not appear until the entire tabs module is almost completely off the page. I would like the 6th and 7th tabs to display sooner. I have my tabs module set to be 900px tall, I would like all of the tab buttons to be displayed by the time the tabs module is vertically centered on the screen. How do I control this?
