Hello,
I'm sorry that this is such a basic question but I'm new to Gavick (though not to Joomla).
I can see that in the Quark template various modules are assigned to the 'our team' menu item on the main menu. When I go to the menu item I can see that it is linked to a dummy article with a line of text in it (not visible on the website). I'm used to loadmodule or loadposition but I cannot see these being used within the body of the article. Are the modules attached purely through menu assignment, and if so, how is the article not visible?

Hi,
Yes, in MainMenu there is a item named Our Team (Alias: team) type: Articles » Single Article >> About us
yes which is "dummy" indeed.
Becuase on this page developer used only modules and showing article content was disabled in template settings - by suffix

Hello,
Thanks for replying so quickly. I've added the menu itemID and can replicate having a header module at the top of the page. I've added other modules via menu assignment ok. But the article still appears after the initial header module and before the other modules. As far as I can tell all the settings are identical with the demo.

If I understand you want to remove article content?
If yes just use empty article - and in menu manager disable showing title and intro.

Or option #2 use Blank Component which allows you to create a page view without using a article.
