blog design "Quark default" in Blogdesign "restaurant"

hello,

I use Quark v.1.1.2 default.

I want to use the restaurant blogdesign in my blog using the normal Quark desing default at the moment.

I found out, that it is possible in Menueitem to choose "restaurant" look at the attached picture - but when I save the new setting nothing happens - can you help me please?

Hi try to recompile the files in template settings > advance settings > recompile less
and clean your cache in browser and in administrator of joomla

thanks for your reply but it doesnt work.

I have two main questions

1. how do you build the header in menue "blog" becaus in the Quark template the articel-image goes to header image including the headline - in my case it doesnt work also.

2. would be great if any blogdesign would be work - at the moment it doesnt.

do you have a new idea?

I found one mistake - I had an created an extra header for the blogmenue - thats wrong! so the blog image changes into the header and shows the headline too.

But I'm not able to start the restaurant blog design ..

I do not quite understand what You have in mind. But If You mean to use couple of styles of quark, than an easiest way to do this is by installing each of this templates separately. No need to recompile anything then, just select which template to use in menu item options.

I am interested in doing that with the ecommerce and default style of the quark template, but in the download section I don't see an option to download the ecommerce style without the quickstart which would reinstall Joomla. I already have the default loaded for my site, so I just need the ecommerce style.

It's just a little bit more complicated. You need to install quark template one more time with changed name. Here is an instruction how to change it: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... ate-folder

Than You will be able to use both styles at the same time on different pages.
