I have used the Newsletter html module in Quark to create a frontpage search section. How can I make the inputbox work as a search (com_finder) instead of a email inputbox? (I'm still on a local server)
Kind regards Lucien

Hi, "work" you cannot, but if we talk about appearance it's possible. It request some extra lines of CSS code, but in general we do not help with template customization.

Hi Oscar, thanks for your response.
If you can make an exception then I would love to have some of those extra lines of CSS code.
If not then some advice how to go about it would be great.
Is it CSS for the Newsletter module or to modify a K2 Tools (search box)?
I know it will takes you some time... but result may be quite fine if you know the CSS basic.

I have done that already with the button and input box of K2 Tools (search box) using the Newsletter css. My only problem now is getting the text in place next to the search tool. The one on the left saying… (Looking for something specific). Do you have a code I can use to achieve that?
Thanks

Because each customer uses different newsletter module we do not have collection of CSS codes for all of them, upss. But after some time you can show here URL and maybe then I will be able to give you a clue.
