SLOW when "Search Engine Friendly URLs" enabled

Hi everybody!

When I enable "Search Engine Friendly URLs" the frontend performance is very slow.

or:
#RewriteEngine On: fast
RewriteEngine On: slow

Maybe you have an idea to solve the problem... this would be great!

htaccess.txt is renamed to .htaccess
PHP-Version is 5.5.18
Webserver is Apache/2.2.15 (Red Hat)
Joomla!-Version is Joomla! 3.4.1 Stable

2) Your "problem" is not related with our template, sorry. Maybe ask on Official Joomla Forum.

I tried it out With other template there´s no problem. Just with the Quark Theme.

Hard to guess, I know that all GK templates are based on this same framework.
and SEF URLs are from joomla not from template, so probably it must be something else.
