1. Please do not bump your questions - i makes you wait longer.
2. The white space on the bottom is also visible on homepage.
3. Frontpage behave differs from other pages because of frontpage page suffix.

Please check if removing frontpage homepage suffix helps (leave dark-bg suffix for the time being).
