Quark blog modification

I quite like the look of quark restaurant blog pages. Good job! I would love to use them for my portfolio if only:
- I was able to remove the date (or possibly replace it with linked name of blog category)
- the header only image would slide to other image OR
- I could insert a a different Photoswipe gallery set for EACH blog item

Basically, I have a profolio with each item has a few picturers- those I would like to show on each page. Thank you for recomendation.

Removing date is a simple thing, but adding sliders or so is not.
But actually you might modify the template, resign from original image and use some 3rd party extension to insert slides at the beginning of blog entry. This might not look great but could work for you.
