Sidebar Menu customisation

Where can I customize the sidebar content? I want to replace the social icons with my own icons and links...

Social icons are a module placed on the menu_bottom module position.

Thank you! That worked beautifly - however is there some gk trick to make an icon with hover highlight effect?

But the icons have built-in hover effect in the menu_bottom module position.
