login module placement in mobile view

Hi guys,

I notice that when the writer template is being viewed by a mobile device the login and search icons appear approximately halfway down the page rather than at the top of the page as in desktop view.

Is there any way to re-position the search and user login to appear at the top of the page when being viewed by mobile devices?

I’m afraid that modifications such as this require extensive changes to the theme’s code; I do apologize but such large changes are custom work that are beyond the scope of our technical support.
