Featured story vanishes on mouse-over after update

Updated to Joomla 3.4.7, and now my featured article on the home page vanishes every time a user mouses-over it, in every browser I've tested so far.

I saw some forum posts that seemed related or described the same problem, so I tried adding the following CSS to my activated and functioning override.css file, in hopes a previous fix for this issue would work, but it seems to be ineffective:

.gkNspPM-FrontpageImageOverlay > figcaption p,
.gkNspPM-FrontpageImageOverlay > figcaption h1,
.gkNspPM-FrontpageImageOverlay > figcaption .button {
opacity: 1 !important;
}

Any other suggestions? My domain is http://ryanmcgeeney.com. A swift response is greatly appreciated.

I discovered that in the Frontpage mode I module, there's a setting for "Include jQuery framework" under the External Files section. Setting this to ON seems to have fixed my problem. HOPEFULLY it doesn't break anything else in the process. Please let me know if there's something more I should do.

One unintended outcome of turning on the Include jQuery framework setting is that now my main (off-canvas) menu won't work. So this is obviously not an acceptable fix. Please help, ASAP. Thank you!

Hi

Your site is offline, so I cannot check the problem, but since You've already figured out that it's because of javascript libraries conflict try to install Easy jQuery plugin and check different versions of jQuery. One of them may work for both elements. It will also remove any libraries duplications which may cause this problem.

If this will not work send me an access to joomla panel.

Hi

Looks like the problem was simple. Everything is working fine, except when site is set as offline and a frontend module editing is activated. I think it was missed during module implementation. I have disabled frontent module editing icon so You can see that all modules without it works fine. Anyway NSP module is too complexed to use this way of editing it and not all options are accessible.
