Module ID override

In the Gk Writer template setting -> Menu Tab, the last setting is Module ID override with a choice of module postion and a choice for ID.
How can I use it and what will be the effect.

I just found this lost thread.
This option allow to create custom id's for scrolling to. If you don't like http://yoursite.com/#bottom1 link you can rerite it to custom one.
