Is there a chance to get a fixed (static) 'to top' button on the bottom to manage long frontpage sites ????

Yes, it's possible to add this kind of button, please use i.e. this code (with font awesome icon):

You can add the button in the bottom widgets, or in footer.php file i.e. under the footer menu.
