invalid recaptcha code

Hi All,
I have been struggling with this capthca-recaptcha plugin for a while.
I have managed to update it and everything should work accordingly, however no matter what I do I always get the error saying " invalid reCaptcha code"

In my understanding I just have to register my site on google, and then update the received "site" and "secret" keys in the plugins and also set the global config to use capchta-recapthca.

Your help would be highly appreciated, I hate spams!

Hi,
hard to say, because you are using default joomla built-in recaptcha system I guess,
but remember that since 3.4.x there are two captcha inside, v1 and v2.

First check on default template if it works, then check recaptcha plugin settings and play with v1 and v2.

Thanks for the quick response and sorry for my late response! I still have not found an other solution. It would be necessary for the Contact and Reservation forms in the Steakhouse template. Is there an alternate captcha that would be compatible?

sometimes using a alternative captcha may help , but I'm not sure if their will work with GK contact plugin.
Second solution use contact module which already have antispam system inside.

Unfortunately I still have not found the reason why I receive the message "Invalid Recaptcha Code". I have tried everything. Can you maybe recommend me an alternate solution? SPAMs are really annoying.

Joomla 3.4 have option to change Recaptcha engine (v1/v2) - check other settings in Plugin Manager.

Please download : gk_steakhouse_rest_files_J!3.zip
inside (after UNZIP) you will find
plugins\plg_gkcontact_steakhouse_FOR_NEW_RECAPTCHA.zip
Install this plugin and remove old.

it should work okay with new v2 Recaptcha API

Thanks Oscar E,
I did replace both plugins, but now when I click on the send button, I get a blank page nothing else.
What could have gone wrong? If I turn captcha off and then send, it sends normally.

I have no idea,
maybe try contact plugin from Technews package.

Thanks! I have put back the old plugins and now it works for some reason.
