double demo content

I accidentally uploaded demo content and that events.xml file two times. So I have two of everything. How can I get rid of the second upload?

Hello,

You should remove all posts/pages menus and images and then you can import the xml file again.

i did and it worked, thanks.... but now, although on the frontend i have the demo and everything on dashboard when i open a page it is empty. for instance i tried events page but there is nothing in it. did i do sth wrong?
