Updating Events Logo

Hi there,
I am having the toughest time updating the Events logo.
I am using Style III which gives me the (blue graphic) logo.

What I ended up doing was changing the color of this logo in Photoshop, and added my company name on it.

When I tried to replaced the (logo.png) file in this directory:
/templates/gk_events/images/style3

Nothing happens. It's still showing the original logo.

Please help as I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
I've attached the original logo and my company logo.

and tip :
this template uses both logo.png and logo.svg for logo image, so you have to override both
