Change title of the site (text show on tab)

How I can change the title of the site, that is the text show in the tab label of the browser?
Generally I change the "name of the site" in the general settings of the global configuration, but it still remains "Events".

you can set this in the options of the menu items. Check menu item "home" of "Main Menu" and look for Page Display.
