Front end editing - urgent

Hi,

We have a site at http://nursery.perryworld.co.uk/ and we want to be able to edit it from the front end.
You can login to the front and backend using test / test
If you login to the frontend and go to menu Home>About us then the edit pencil appears when you hover over our facilites but if you hover over the article you do not get the edit option.

If we change to the rockwall template it works fine

Any help would really be appreciated as a version of the site is live

Hi,

We solved this by making sure on the options for menu/articles show icons, print and email was set to global.
The only issue now is we only want the edit icon to show but if we switch the print and email icons off the edit disappears also.

Any ideas how we could only show the edit option?

Please send me an access to ftp I'll make it display edit button only. Aslo can You make those buttons active so I'll be able to test ?

We managed to do this by editing the default.php file in templates/gk_university/html/com_content/article folder
At line 177 we edit the print and email code out and it seems to work fine.

Is this how you would have done it or is there a better way.
