Hello,

When i try to speed up the website i chose a plugin called jch optimize. used i before and worked like a charm. I thought it did the same for the university template but i was wrong. I discoverd some pages are badly effected.

These pages have code to make columns. When using JCH these colums are re-positioned. See Atachement to get a good idea what i mean.

The code used on these pages to create columns are as follow:

Code: Select all
<div class="gkCols" data-cols="2">

Hope you can help

Hi

This is normal. Not every files can be compiled together. This is why in JCH settings there is an option to exclude files from compression. Please try to exclude some of them and see how it looks than. Unfortunately there is no rule to which files should be excluded, only a trials and error way to do this.

Hi

If You are familiar with Firebug, it's a developer tool for Firefox than this plugin has an option to list all css and javascript files. Best is to add all of them to exclusion field and remove one by one while checking if problem appears. When it happens than You know that the last removed file from list is to blame.
